Venue, Access and Getting There

Click on ‘+’ next to each question to explore the answers available.

Where is the conference venue located?

ACEM ASM 2026 will be held at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6000, Australia. PCEC is located in central Perth, near the Swan River, Elizabeth Quay, public transport connections, hotels, restaurants and city attractions.

Which entrance should I use?

Final venue access instructions will be provided closer to the Meeting and may vary by day, event area and activity. Delegates should follow signage to the ASM registration area on arrival. If you are attending a workshop, social function, speaker preparation room, sponsor activity or offsite event, please check the specific arrival instructions sent to you. Venue and destination information is available via stg-acemasm-staging.kinsta.cloud/destination/venue/.

How do I get to PCEC?

PCEC is located at 21 Mounts Bay Road, Perth WA 6000, in the Perth CBD near Elizabeth Quay. Delegates can access the venue by train, bus, ferry, taxi, rideshare, walking from nearby CBD hotels, or by car. Elizabeth Quay Train Station and Elizabeth Quay Busport are the closest major public transport points and are only a short walk from the venue. Perth’s free CAT bus services operate through the CBD, and delegates can plan public transport journeys using the Transperth website or app. Delegates travelling by ferry can use the Elizabeth Quay Jetty, which connects to South Perth via the Mends Street Jetty service. Taxis and rideshare vehicles can drop delegates close to the venue’s main entry areas; drivers are generally familiar with PCEC and its designated drop-off points. Delegates travelling from Perth Airport should allow sufficient time and may use taxi, rideshare, airport transfer services or public transport, depending on arrival time, luggage and accessibility needs. Paid parking is available directly beneath PCEC in the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park, accessed via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road or the Riverside Drive off-ramp from the Mitchell Freeway. Parking is subject to availability, fees, height restrictions and City of Perth Parking conditions. Delegates who require accessible parking or step-free access should allow additional arrival time and follow venue and car park signage to the lifts connecting the car park with venue levels.

Where should I park?

The most convenient parking option is the City of Perth Convention Centre Car Park located directly beneath PCEC. Vehicle access is via Mill Street, Mounts Bay Road or the Riverside Drive off-ramp from the Mitchell Freeway. The car park operates independently of the ASM and spaces cannot be guaranteed, so delegates should allow extra time during peak arrival periods. Parking fees, height limits, accessible bays, motorcycle parking, electric vehicle charging and payment conditions are managed by City of Perth Parking. If the Convention Centre Car Park is full, delegates should use nearby CBD parking options and allow time to walk to the venue.

What is the best public transport option?

Elizabeth Quay Train Station and Elizabeth Quay Busport are the closest public transport hubs to PCEC. Delegates travelling by train should make their way to Elizabeth Quay Station, then follow signs toward Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Delegates travelling by bus should use Elizabeth Quay Busport where possible. Perth’s free CAT buses operate in the CBD and may assist delegates travelling between hotels, city locations and the venue. Delegates should check Transperth journey planning before travel for the most current routes, service times and any disruptions.

Can I walk to the venue?

Yes. PCEC is within walking distance of many Perth CBD hotels, Elizabeth Quay, restaurants and city attractions. Delegates walking to the venue should allow extra time if carrying luggage, travelling during peak pedestrian periods or attending early morning workshops or social functions.
